I'd like it if we could lock this blog as an invite-only blog because I don't want the shit that I write on here to come hunting me down in five years.

Then again, it's cool to send a link to a friend and for him/her to be able to see our discussion easily.

But WHATEVER ... reason I'm posting here is because I can't find the awesome posting Neil on the difficulties of the digital mix tape.

It was very well articulated, but in short he said that it's tough to do a digital mix tape because it's easy to skip tracks if the first three seconds don't grab you by the shoulder.

So, to avoid that, I've only been listening to the discs whenever I'm in my car for a while, and that tends to be when I go to the lake, or a trail or the river or to see my girlfriend on the weekends.

So, that means I haven't listened to Neil's disc yet, and probably won't get to it until Friday night or Saturday. And that's even though Da Harvey Code is the one I've anticipated because of the massive music collection he's got in his house and in his computer (mp3 and albums, etc).

So, all I'm saying is, give it a try. If you listen to it in the car, you'll skip less. I do.
